Fourth: Training and Awareness
Description
This activity included the implementation of training and awareness courses to the persons in charge of maintenance at all targeted facilities of the project first phase 2016. In the field of: installing, operating and maintaining solar energy systems. This is to achieve sustainability of continuous function of the system in the targeted facilities.
The training courses aimed at to achieve the following:
1.            Training and awareness personnel in charge of maintenance at the facilities about the installed systems in the facilities (training on installation, operation and maintenance).
2.            Awareness to as much of community members about the sources of sustainable energy and how to Awareness to members of facilities where the projects of solar systems implemented on how to deal with the sources of limited capacity and economic sources, on operating electrical loads to keep the performance of the system the required way.
3.            Awareness to the trainees on the skills of methods of keeping, maintaining, protecting of solar energy systems.

 This training and awareness intervention implemented with many tasks to 28 trainees among the beneficiaries at the official health and education facilities, public societies. Are

Tmeasure on the Trainees in the Training & Awareness course to the Personnel in Charge of Maintenance in the Facilities
The mission of monitoring the installation and operation of the Solar Systems in Lahej and Abyan Governorates, within the program Enhanced Rural Resilience in Yemen, solar energy project included in its activities the implementation of training and awareness course to the beneficiaries on installation and maintenance of solar energy system in Lahej governorate - districts of (Toban – Tor Albaha) in Abayn governorate districts of (Khanfar – Lodar) during the period 13-15-02- 2017. 28 personnel in charge of maintenance were targeted in the targeted facilities (service offices of Education – Health – facilities and health units – schools – public societies). We tried to impact measure of the trainees who were targeted for the training & awareness course in order to know the results and impact of the training course outcome as an awareness material benefiting personnel in charge of maintenance in the facilities where solar energy systems provided to them. 
The impact measure was executed by preparing the form of: Assessment Form of the Training & Awareness Course (trainer, training material, training atmosphere).
The impact measure form consisted of 3 axis: first: focus of the trainers capabilities on delivery of information, making interaction, variety of activities, his skills in lecturing, committing to time, measure of scientific content of the training course and the achievement of the course objectives/goals.
 The second axis: the bag or training mater ial. Third: training atmosphere (suitability of atmosphere as) date of implementation, period of the course, training hall and its equipment and supportive service (hosting, break, photocopying … etc)
The form consisted of general assessment with open question forwarded to the trainees mentioned (mot important positives and negatives – what do you like – dislike) In addition to pressurizing the trainees to write their impression with a short statement (a word you want to forward to the work team of the project, positive or negative)
28 forms were distributed to the personnel in charge of maintenance in the facilities that were targeted in the project. All forms data received from trainees was entered and statistically analyzed in accordance with the form's questions using statistical analysis program SPSS.
The most important results we got as impact measure of trainees after the training and awareness course as follow:
1.       The trainer was capable with high skills in delivering information; organize interventions and discussions, executing contents of the course using various ways executing activities, time management and practical application of the course. Covered the content of the course achieved 93% of the course objectives.
2.       Regarding the course content: the content was unique, organized, and easy, achieved its objectives by distributions of topics. Also suiting different levels of trainees where the gain of the beneficiaries was 93%.
3.       Regarding he training atmosphere was very suitable in organizing with the availability of supportive services of hosting and photocopying. In addition to good ventilation, good lights where the atmosphere was 97% suitable.
As mentioned above, the training course achieved the objectives completely by the trainer capability, type of training material, comprehension of trainees and availability of good atmosphere for training and for trainees.
