Nations Development Program inaugurate the activities of the Solar
Energy project in Lahj and Abyan governorates.

Adwar Organization for Youth Development inaugurated today its activities concerning monitoring, installing, operating the solar energy systems, and coordinating with the official parties and the beneficiaries in Lahj and Abyan governorates; that was through solar energy belonging to the project, that
aims to assist the Yemeni countryside endure the situation,which is being executed by The United Nations
Development Program UNDP in four governorates Lahj, Abyan, Hodaidahand Hajah for three consistent years.
This project intends to make the local societies in
Yemeni countryside able to deal with dangers and shocks through having the
solar energy.
Dr. Majid Beshr, the Manager of Adwar Organization for Youth Development has confirmed this
project and the task of monitoring, installing, operating the solar energy systems, and coordinating with the official parties and the
beneficiaries inLahj (Tor albahah – Tuban) and Abyan (Khanfar – Laudar) governorates
which is authorized to Adwar which aims to enhance the abilities to coexist with the local
societies and developing the spadework depending on the solar energy. The given support will directly help
in providing a high level of main services in health, education, water and other services for about 100 local
societies in the targeted areas.
Moreover, it will also help indirectly in developing the outcomes of education and enhancing the opportunities of income amendment besides enhancing the abilities of
the targeted countryside societies to resist.
Dr. Majid Beshr, as also a monitoring supervisor has added that the task ,that will be performed by Adwar, is giving
the priority to the main services such as health, water, education, the social services, shopping places,
street lights, and other
services which need to be operated through solar energy systems besides expansion in applying the solar energy to help the society in the countryside endure the situation, also building the abilities and confirming marketing the small commercial business for solar energy.
Remarkably, Adwar has started its activities in executing the task of
monitoring through coordinating with the official parties in Lahj and Abyan governorates; besides, checking the equipment of the solar energy systems and test whether or not they follow the standardizations of
quality and technical specifications given by the UNDP to the importer. The equipment have already been checked and tested by the Engineer Salah Mohammed Muqbel, the leader of Adwar’sengineering team with the presence of Mr. MahmoodShdewah, the Manager of the Solar Energy Project UNDP, Dr.
Majid Besher and Mr. Hamdan Essa, the coordinator of the project in Lahj and Abyan.
Mr. Hamdan Esaa, project coordinator in the
provinces of Lahij and Abyan that there will be a lot of activities to be
executed by Adwar Organization which can mainly be listed as: supervising
the receipt of the solar energy
from the importer and to guarantee installing, operating and handling it to the institutions and the
beneficiaries with ease and goodness.
Besides, courses and conferences will be held to aware the beneficiaries in the
skills of installing, operating, and maintaining the solar energy systems.
Mr. Hamdan has indicated that Adwar for Youth
Development is considered to be a
non-governmental and non-profitable sector, specialized in
developing the skills and abilities of youth through enriching
their knowledge and that will enable them
to play an effective role serving the society through development-reinforcement-partnership. Adwar is
Aiming to enable youth to participate with an effective manner
in the process of development and building the present and the
future to revive the Yemeni Society. Adwar is working in
many fields: awareness, training, employment, education, relief,
emergency, communication solutions, shelters, psychological support, early
refreshment and reconstruction.

منظمة أدوار للتنمية الشبابية اليوم أنشطتها الخاصة بمهمة مراقبة وتركيب وتشغيل
منظومات الطاقة الشمسية ووضع الترتيبات المؤسسية مع الجهات الرسمية والمستفيدين في
محافظتي لحج وابين، وذلك ضمن إطار المكون الخاص بالطاقة المتجددة التابع لمشروع
تعزيز القدرة على الصمود في الريف اليمني والذي ينفذه البرنامج الإنمائي للأمم
المتحدة UNDP في أربع محافظات أبين ولحج والحديدة وحجة ولمدة
ثلاثة سنوات متواصلة.
ويهدف
المشروع إلى جعل المجتمعات المحلية في الريف اليمني أكثر قدره على التعامل مع
المخاطر والصدمات من خلال حصولهم على الطاقة الشمسية.
وأكد
الدكتور ماجد بشر رئيس منظمة أدوار للتنمية الشبابية أن المشروع ومهمة الرقابة على
تركيب منظومات الطاقة الشمسية ووضع الترتيبات المؤسسية مع الجهات الرسمية
والمستفيدين في محافظتي لحج (طور الباحة - تبن)، وأبين (خنفر – لودر) الموكلة
لمنظمة أدوار يهدف إلى بناء القدرة على التكيف في المجتمعات الريفية، وتعزيز تطور
الأعمال الصغرى القائمة على الطاقة الشمسية، وسيسهم الدعم المقدم بشكل مباشر في
تحسين مستوى تقديم الخدمات الأساسية من صحة وتعليم ومياه شرب وخدمات أخرى لحوالي
100 مجتمع محلي في المديريات المستهدفة. كما سيسهم ايضاً بصورة غير مباشرة بتحسين
مخرجات التعليم وتعزيز فرص تحسين الدخل، وكذلك تعزيز قدرة المجتمعات الريفية
المستهدفة على الصمود.
واضاف د.
بشر مدير الرقابة أن المهمة التي ستقوم بها منظمة أدوار ستعطي الأولية للخدمات
الأساسية مثل الصحة والمياه والتعليم والخدمات المجتمعية وأماكن التسوق وإضاءة
الشوارع.. وغيرها من الخدمات التي تحتاج التشغيل عبر منظومات الطاقة الشمسية،
بالإضافة إلى التوسع في تطبيقات الطاقة الشمسية لتعزيز قدرة الصمود المعيشي
للمجتمع في المناطق الريفية الضعيفة، وبناء القدرات والإنعاش، واعتماد تسويق تنمية
الأعمال التجارية الصغيرة للطاقة الشمسية.
من جهته
أكد محمد هائل مغلس مدير العلاقات والإعلام في منظمة أدوار أن الفريق التنفيذي بدأ
في مباشرة تنفيذ أنشطة مهمة الرقابة من خلال وضع الترتيبات المؤسسية مع
الجهات الرسمية في محافظتي لحج وأبين، بالإضافة إلى النزول الميداني لمحلات المورد
بصنعاء وفحص العينات والمعدات الخاصة بنظام الطاقة الشمسية ومدى امتثالها لمعايير
الجودة والمواصفات الفنية المحددة من قبل UNDP، وقد قام بفحص واختبار العينات المهندس صلاح
محمد مقبل رئيس الفريق الهندسي ADWAR وبحضور الاستاذ محمود شيدوه
مدير مشروع الطاقة الشمسية UNDP، والدكتور ماجد بشر، وحمدان عيسى منسق
المهمة في محافظتي لحج وابين.
وأشار
مدير العلاقات والإعلام في منظمة أدوار بأن هناك العديد من الانشطة التي ستقوم
بتنفيذها منظمة أدوار في المهمة أهمها: الإشراف على استلام المعدات الطاقة الشمسية
من المورد إلى المستفيدين وضمان تركيبها وتشغيلها وتسليمها للمؤسسات والجهات
المستفيدة على نحو سلس وجيد، بالإضافة إلى تنفيذ دورات وجلسات توعوية للمستفيدين
بمهارات تركيب وتشغيل وصيانة والحفاظ على منظومات الطاقة الشمسية.
والجدير
ذكره أن منظمة أدوار للتنمية الشبابية تعتبر منظمة غير حكومية، لا تهدف للربح
متخصصة في تطوير مهارات وقدرات الشباب من خلال منحهم المعرفة وتمكينهم من تقديم
أدوار فعالة تخدم المجتمع من خلال التطوير - التعزيز - الشراكة. وتهدف إلى تمكين
الشباب للمساهمة بدور ريادي وفعال في عملية التنمية، والمشاركة في صناعة الحاضر
والمستقبل للنهوض في المجتمع اليمني، وتعمل في مجالات عدة أهمها: التوعية والتدريب
والتشغيل والتعليم والإغاثة والطوارئ وحلول الاتصالات، والايواء والدعم النفسي
