Awdar Organization for Youth Development ADWAR & the
United Nation Development Program UNDP launched the
Solar Power Project activities in Toban District –
Lahej Governorate.
The day
before yesterday, Awdar Organization for Youth Development (ADWAR)
lunched its field visit to Abyan and Lahej Governorates executing its
activities; Monitoring
the installation of the Solar Systems and developing institutional arrangements
with the beneficiaries in both Governorates. This visit came within the special
frame work of renewable solar power component that is related to the project of
Enhanced Rural Resilience in Yemen Program ERRY which is
implemented by the United
Nation Development Program UNDP in four governorates: Abyan, Lahej,
Alhodiedah and Hajja for three continuous years.
The project aims to enhance
the self-reliance of rural people and communities to better cope with crises,
risks and shocks through getting solar power. It also aims to capacity building
of rural communities' adaptability, enhance solar power micro businesses.
Priority will be given as first phase to rural basic services such as health,
education, communal services, market places that need to operate by renewable
energy systems.
Dr. Maged Beshr, the head of Awdar Organization
for Youth Development said that the project activities are implemented in a
very technical and professional manner by the experienced and capable technical
and administrative team of the organization. The field visit took place after
putting all the institutional
arrangements for the process of Monitoring the installation of the
Solar Systems in Lahej Governorate (Toban District) by project
team.
Dr. Beshr pointed that the preparation, coordination
and the work initiation in the targeted areas are done with the Local
Authorities. The project activities inaugurated in Toban District Education
Office, Alhotah Health Office, Khadija School for Girls, health unit Dar
Almnasera and Development Society (Population Society for Relief and
Development). This is after visit, sites checking and meets standards at central level.
Dr. Beshr added that the current mission focused on
the basic service sectors such as education, health, productive societies,
market places and street lights …etc.
Dr. Beshr praised the cooperation and concern of the
responsible bodies of local authorities in the governorate, districts,
governorate health and education offices and security office in the
governorate. Expressed that the project activities will continue to include;
Tor Albaha District of Lahej Governorate, Khanfar and Lodar Districts of Abyan
Governorate.
It's worthy to mention that Awdar Organization for Youth
Development is a non-governmental a non-profit Organization,
specialized in developing youth skills and abilities. Coordinating; with
international donors in order to provide different services: educational,
health, development and other sides of interests to local communities. This is
to provide them knowledge enabling them presenting active rules in society
through development – enhancing – partnership. It aims to enable the youths
participating in advance and active rule in development process, participating
in making resent and future to raise the Yemeni Society. ADWAR works in
different areas of: awareness, capacity building, operating, and education.
Also: emergency and relief, communication solutions, sheltering, psychological
support, early intervention and reconstruction.

يدشنا أنشطة مشروع الطاقة الشمسية في مديرية تبن محافظة لحج
دشنت منظمة أدوار للتنمية الشبابية أمس
الأول النزول الميداني إلى محافظتي لحج وأبين لتنفيذ أنشطتها الخاصة بمهمة مراقبة وتركيب
وتشغيل منظومات الطاقة الشمسية ووضع الترتيبات المؤسسية مع الجهات الرسمية والمستفيدين
في المحافظتين، وذلك ضمن إطار المكون الخاص بالطاقة الشمسية المتجددة التابع لمشروع
تعزيز القدرة على الصمود في الريف اليمني والذي ينفذه البرنامج الإنمائي للأمم المتحدة
UNDP في أربع محافظات أبين ولحج والحديدة وحجة ولمدة
ثلاثة سنوات متواصلة.
ويهدف المشروع إلى جعل المجتمعات المحلية في
الريف اليمني أكثر قدره على التعامل مع المخاطر والصدمات من خلال حصولهم على الطاقة
الشمسية، كما يهدف إلى جعل المجتمعات المحلية في الريف اليمني أكثر قدره على

القدرة على التكيف في المجتمعات الريفية، وتعزيز تطور الأعمال الصغرى القائمة على الطاقة
الشمسية، علماً أن المشروع يعطي الأولية كمرحلة أولى للخدمات الأساسية مثل الصحة والتعليم
والخدمات المجتمعية وأماكن التسوق التي تحتاج التشغيل عبر منظومات الطاقة المتجددة.
وقال الدكتور ماجد بشر رئيس منظمة أدوار
للتنمية الشبابية أن أنشطة المشروع تنفذ بشكل مهني وتقني محترف من قبل طواقم منظمة
أدوار الهندسية والادارية تملك القدرات
والخبرات، حيث تم النزول الميداني بعد وضع جميع الترتيبات المؤسسية لعملية الرقابة
على تركيب المنظومات الشمسية في محافظة لحج (مديرية تبن) من قبل طاقم المشروع،
وأشار الدكتور بشر إلى أنه تم التهيئة والتنسيق في المناطق المستهدفة مع السلطات
المحلية والبدء بالعمل حيث دشنت أنشطة المشروع في مكتب التربية بمديرية تبن ومكتب
الصحة في الحوطة ومدرسة خديجة النموذجية للبنات والوحدة الصحية دار المناصرة
بالمديرية وجمعية تنموية (الجمعية الشعبية
للتنمية والإغاثة) وذلك بعد النزول والفحص على المواقع ومدى ملائمتها للمعايير
المحددة مركزياً.
واضاف د. بشر مدير مشروع الرقابة ADWARأن
المهمة الحالية ركزت على القطاعات الخدمية الأساسية مثل الصحة والتعليم والجمعيات
الانتاجية وأماكن التسوق وإضاءة الشوارع..
وغيرها .
كما أشاد الدكتور بشر بالاهتمام والتعاون
الكبير من قبل مسؤولي السلطات المحلية بالمحافظة والمديريات ومكاتب التربية والصحة
ومديرية الأمن بالمحافظة منوهاً إلى أن أنشطة المشروع ستستمر خلال الفترة القادمة
لتشمل مديرية طور الباحة في لحج ومديريات خنفر ولودر بمحافظة أبين.
والجدير ذكره أن منظمة أدوار للتنمية
الشبابية هي منظمة غير حكومية، لا تهدف للربح متخصصة في تطوير مهارات وقدرات
الشباب والتنسيق مع الجهات الدولية المانحة لتقديم الخدمات للمجتمعات المحلية في
مختلف الجوانب الخدمية التعليمية والصحية والتنموية وغيرها من الجوانب الأخرى ذات
الإهتمام وذلك لمنحهم المعرفة وتمكينهم من تقديم أدوار فعالة تخدم المجتمع من خلال
التطوير - التعزيز - الشراكة. وتهدف إلى تمكين الشباب للمساهمة بدور ريادي وفعال
في عملية التنمية، والمشاركة في صناعة الحاضر والمستقبل للنهوض بالمجتمع اليمني، حيث
وتعمل ADWAR في مجالات عدة أهمها: التوعية والتدريب
والتشغيل والتعليم والإغاثة والطوارئ وحلول الاتصالات، والايواء والدعم النفسي
والانعاش المبكر وإعادة الإعمار.
