Organization UNDP implementing training course and awareness program to the
beneficiaries from solar energy services in Toban & Tor AlBaha Districts of
Lahej Governorate.

Today (Thursday) Adwar Organization for Youth
Development conducted a training course and awareness program on the skills of
installing, operating and maintaining solar energy systems to the beneficiaries
and the persons in charge of maintenance. In the facilities of: health and
education offices, health units, schools and societies in Toban & Tor
Albaha Districts of Lahej Governorate. This is came within the frame of
renewable energy component of Rural Resilience in Yemen Program (ERRY)
implemented by UNDP, funded by European Union (EU) and the partnership of Adwar
Organization who insure the delivery and handover between suppliers and
beneficiaries.
The executive manager of Adawr Organization for
Youth Development and Project Coordinator Hamdan Eisa stated that the training
course for the personnel in charge of maintenance in the targeted facilities
and units in both districts came after the completing the installation of solar
systems in all targeted facilities and units in both districts. This training
course considered one of the final activities of monitoring mission that is
carried out by Adwar Organization installing solar energy in the service
facilities in Abyan and Lahej governorates. He pointed out that the
organization took care of choosing technical team from the local residents of
targeted governorates and districts, contributed in qualifying them to take
charge of technical missions, giving them opportunities to show their skills
and improve them to be ambassadors of their communities in the field of
renewable energy which is new trend in Yemen. The organization will keep
working during the coming period on qualifying more of technical persons in
this field in accordance with the project's phases and abilities.
Eisa expressed that the training course and
awareness program which carried out by Adwar Organization in Toban & Tor
Albaha Districts is aiming to provide to participants skills of dealing with
solar systems to keep and sustain them in order to achieve the benefit to the
targeted facilities and facilitating services to the locals. Keeping
vaccinations and helping patients taking their treatment in the health units.
In addition to that facilitate locals formalities in the educational and health
facilities also providing good environment to children in schools by using fans
to decrease heat during classes.
The executive manager added that the carried out
activities coincided with the completion of delivery of systems to the targeted
facilities after testing them, operating them and insure safety of systems. As
well as measures of impact in targeted facilities for direct and indirect
beneficiaries (local authorities, schools administration, teachers, students,
parents, physicians, nurses and patients benefitted from solar energy service).
In addition to local community through specialized questionnaires forms
designed to measure the impact after operating solar systems in the facilities.
This is considered as a unique and professional outcome that through this way
we measure the project achievement and
the achievement of Rural Resilience in Yemen Program (ERRY). This is by making
the rural communities more capable of dealing with hazards and shocks through
obtaining solar energy.
It's worthy to mention that Awdar Organization for
Youth Development is a non-governmental a non-profit Organization, specialized
in developing youth skills and abilities. Coordinating; with international
donors in order to provide different services: educational, health, development
and other sides of interests to local communities. This is to provide them
knowledge enabling them presenting active rules in society through development
– enhancing – partnership. It aims to enable the youths participating in
advance and active rule in development process, participating in making resent
and future to raise the Yemeni Society. ADWAR works in different areas of:
awareness, capacity building, operating, and education. Also: emergency and
relief, communication solutions, sheltering, psychological support, early
intervention and reconstruction.

نفذت منظمة أدوار للتنمية الشبابية اليوم دورتين تدريبية وتوعوية بمهارات تركيب وتشغيل وصيانة منظومات الطاقة الشمسية للمستفيدين ومسئولي الصيانة في المرافق مكاتب الصحة والتربية والوحدات الصحية والمدارس والجمعيات بمديريتي خنفر ولودر محافظة أبين، وذلك ضمن إطار المكون الخاص بالطاقة المتجددة التابع لبرنامج تعزيز القدرة على الصمود في الريف اليمني والذي ينفذه البرنامج الإنمائي للأمم المتحدة UNDP وبتمويل من الاتحاد الاوروبي، وبالشراكة مع منظمة أدوار ومجموعة من شركاء المجتمع المدني المحليين الاخريين.

وهدفت الدورتين المنعقدة إلى تدريب وتوعوية
مسئولي الصيانة المرشحين من المرافق الصحية والتعليمة والمجتمعية المستهدفة في
مشروع الطاقة الشمسية للمرحلة الأولى من عام 2016م بمهارات تركيب وصيانة وتشغيل
أنظمة الطاقة الشمسية، وتدريبهم في مجال إدارة الطاقة المخزنة في البطاريات بما في
ذلك قياس وتشغيل الاحمال الحرجة كانت مهمة أو غير مهمة في المرافق، بالإضافة الى
التحقق من توصيل الكهرباء إلى البطاريات، وتنظيف التأكل والفحص واستبدال وحماية
الصمامات، ومشاكل المس الكهربائي.
وأكد الدكتور ماجد بشر رئيس منظمة أدوار
للتنمية الشبابية أن الدورتين التدريبية في تركيب وصيانة وحماية أنظمة الطاقة
الشمسية لمسئولي الصيانة في المرافق التعليمية والصحية تعتبر إحدى الأنشطة
النهائية لمهمة الرقابة التي تقوم بها منظمة أدوار لتركيب الطاقة الشمسية في
المرافق الخدمية في محافظتي أبين ولحج.
وأشار أن البرنامج التدريبي والتوعوي الذي
نفذته منظمة أدوار في مديريتي لودر وخنفر، تزامن مع اشرافها على الاستلام والتسليم
بين الموردين ومسئولي المرافق المستهدفة في خطة مشروع الطاقة المتجددة، التي
استهدفت كمرحلة أولى في مديرية خنفر منظومات الطاقة للوحدة الصحية في جعار ومكاتب
الصحة والتربية والتعليم ومدرسة طارق بن زياد للتعليم الاساسي والثانوي ومدرسة 7
يوليو للبنات، بالإضافة إلى جمعية الفقيد طلاب النسوية – التنموية، أما مديرية
لودر فقد تم استهداف المكاتب الخدمية التابعة للتربية والتعليم والصحة والسكان،
بالإضافة إلى مدرسة الفقيد الواحدي للبنات ومدرسة أبو بكر الصديق للتعليم الاساسي
والثانوي الوحدة الصحية - الخديرة، والوحدة الصحية – أماجل.
وأضاف رئيس منظمة أدوار أن الأنشطة المنفذة
تزامنت أيضا في قياس الأثر في المرافق المستهدفة للمستفيدين المباشرين وغير
المباشرين (سلطات محلية، إدارات المدارس والمدرسين/ات والطلاب/ات وأولياء الأمور،
والاطباء، والممرضين والامراض المستفيدين من خدمات الطاقة الشمسية بالإضافة إلى
المجتمع المحلي عبر استمارات متخصصة تهدف إلى قياس الأثر بعد تشغيل المنظومات في
المرافق، وذلك باعتباره مخرج نوعي واحترافي نقيس من خلاله مدى تحقيق اهداف المشروع
وبرنامج تعزيز القدرة على الصمود في الريف اليمني بجعل المجتمعات المحلية في الريف
اليمني أكثر قدره على التعامل مع المخاطر والصدمات من خلال حصولهم على الطاقة
الشمسية، منوة أنه سيتم في الايام القليلة القادمة تنفيذ البرنامج التدريبي والتوعوي
وقياس الاثر لمسئولي الصيانة في المرافق التي تم استهدافها أيضاً في مديريتي تبن
وطور الباحة محافظة لحج.
والجدير ذكره أن منظمة أدوار للتنمية الشبابية
تعتبر منظمة غير حكومية، لا تهدف للربح متخصصة في تطوير مهارات وقدرات الشباب
والتنسيق مع الجهات الدولية المانحة لتقديم الخدمات للمجتمعات المحلية في مختلف
الجوانب الخدمية التعليمية والصحية والتنموية وغيرها من الجوانب الأخرى ذات
الاهتمام وذلك بمنحهم المعرفة وتمكينهم من تقديم أدوار فعالة تخدم المجتمع من خلال
التطوير - التعزيز - الشراكة. وتهدف إلى تمكين الشباب للمساهمة بدور ريادي وفعال
في عملية التنمية، والمشاركة في صناعة الحاضر والمستقبل للنهوض في المجتمع اليمني،
وتعمل في مجالات عدة أهمها: التوعية والتدريب والتشغيل والتعليم والإغاثة والطوارئ
وحلول الاتصالات، والايواء والدعم النفسي والانعاش المبكر وإعادة الإعمار.
