Impact measure
after operating the systems in the facilities
Activity Description:
-
This activity
included impact measure after operating the solar systems in the facilities
that
was targeted in the first phase of the project. The goal of impact measure
was important and necessary to know the feedback of the direct and indirect
beneficiaries from the services of the solar systems in the facilities either
service offices of education and health or schools or facilities or health
units or public societies. Knowing that, the impact measure was limited in
accordance with the technical plan to be implemented after the operation of the
systems (3-4 days). However, after the
field visit we noticed that the impact measure will be simple and limited and
won’t serve what look for with all transparency and credibility we preferred to
delay the impact measure to about a week or two weeks from one system to
another.

Based on this impact
measure forms were designed in accordance with the work type of targeted
facilities of direct and indirect beneficiaries groups with consistency for the
study of the field survey that have been reviewed in the coordinative workshops
with local authorities in Sana’a and
Aden. Where there were 5 different forms prepared as follow:

Implementation Mechanism of Impact measure:
The Implementation of the Impact measure was by preparing a list
contains the mechanism of distribution of forms at each targeted facility
deciding number of forms. Forms were distributed to the managers and the
personnel in charge of maintenance in facilities with the field visit of the
administrative team of the project to each facility in order to make interviews
and to impact measure with the beneficiaries from the service of the solar
system in the facilities.
Tools of impact measure are :( interviews – talk meeting with the
beneficiaries – watching and observing – film and photograph documentation).
Sources of impact measure :( forms – official records of the facility –
statistical data of the beneficiaries in the facility).

Mechanism
of statistical analysis of the impact measure forms:
Classification and sorting the forms of impact measure according to
their type and area of target in the targeted facilities. Where, the forms were
collected from 8 schools in the 4 districts. Also, collecting the forms from
the targeted facilities of health numbered to 8 health facilities. As well as
collecting the forms from the service facilities of health and education
numbered to 8 in addition to 2 public societies. All data entered and analyzed
statistically according to the questions ion the forms using statistical
analysis program SPSS.
