Development started the installation of solar power systems in Lodar and Khanfar Districts of Abyan Governorate

Adwar Organization for youth Development & the United Nation Development Program UNDP started the installation of solar power systems in different targeted governmental facilities and sectors. This is within the Enhanced Rural Resilience in Yemen Program ERRY, solar power project in Lodar and Khanfar Districts of Abyan Governorate.

The project which is funded by the European Union EU and UNDP with the partnership of Adwar Organization for youth Development monitoring the installation of the Solar Systems targets schools, health units, districts service offices and development societies that participating in enhancing capability of rural resilience in Yemen. In order to achieve the target servicing the targeted governmental sectors and community easing their suffer.

The executive manager of Adawr Organization; Hamdan Eisa, he is also the coordinator of monitoring project in Abyan and Lahej governorates confirmed that the targeted facilities during the project's first phase 2016 in Lodar District: Education Office, Health Office, Abubaker Alseddeq School, The late Alwahidi compound, Almagel Health Unit and Alkhdera Health Unit. In Khanfar District the project targets: Education and health offices, Tareq Ben Zyad School, 7th of July School for girls in Shuqra, Health Unit in Ga'ar, Reproductive Health Unit in Alkood and Women Association.

The executive manger added that the second phase of the EU funded project should include the implementation of solar power project in all health units and schools in Khanfar and Lodar Districts of Abyan governorate. And Toban and Tor Albaha Districts of Lahej governorate, pointed that the installation of solar power systems in targeted facilities of Lahej district is accomplished.

نفذت منظمة ادوار للتنمية الشبابية وبالشراكة مع البرنامج الإنمائي للأمم المتحدة UNDP بدء التركيب للمنظومات الشمسية في مختلف المرافق والقطاعات الحكومية الخدمية المستهدفة ضمن برنامج " تعزيز القدرة على الصمود في الريف اليمني" مشروع الطاقة الشمسية في مديريتي لودر وخنفر بمحافظة أبين.

ويستهدف المشروع الممول من الاتحاد الأوروبي وتنفيذ البرنامج الإنمائي للأمم المتحدة UNDP وبالشراكة مع منظمة أدوار للتنمية الشبابية التي تتولى مهمة الرقابة على تنفيذ تركيب منظومات الطاقة الشمسية للمدارس والمراكز الصحية والمكاتب الخدمية في المديريات والجمعيات التنموية المساهمة في القدرة على تعزيز الصمود في الريف اليمني بما يحقق خدمة الشرائح التي تستهدفها تلك القطاعات الحكومية الخدمية وتخفيف معاناتها..

وأكد الأستاذ حمدان عيسى المدير التنفيذي لمنظمة أدوار ومنسق مشروع الرقابة في محافظتي لحج وأبين أن المرافق المستهدفة في المشروع خلال مرحلته الأولى 2016م في مديرية لودر مكتب التربية والتعليم ومكتب الصحة العامة والسكان ومدرسة أبو بكر الصديق ومجمع الفقيد الواحدي ومركز الوحدة الصحية في الماجل ومركز الوحدة الصحية في الخديرة فيما يستهدف المشروع في مديرية خنفر مكتبي التربية والتعليم والصحة العامة والسكان في المديرية ومدرسة طارق بن زياد ومدرسة 7 يوليو للبنات في شقرة ومركز الوحدة الصحية في جعار ومركز الصحة الانجابية في الكود وجمعية الطلاب النسوية.

وأضاف المدير التنفيذي أنه من المقرر أن تشمل المرحلة الثانية من المشروع الممول من الاتحاد الأوروبي تنفيذ منظومات الطاقة الشمسية في جميع المراكز الصحية والمدارس في مديريتي خنفر ولودر في محافظة أبين وكذا مديريتي طور الباحة وتبن في محافظة لحج، مشيراً إلى أنه تم الانتهاء من تركيب منظومات الطاقة الشمسية في المرافق المستهدفة في مدينة لحج
