Organization sign Enhanced Rural Resilience in Yemen partnership agreement with
the United Nation Development Program UNDP using solar
energy

Awdar Organization for Youth Development signed partnership agreement with the
United Nation Program UNDP, funded by EU, F A O, I L O and WFP. These are among
the partner organizations that will implement Enhanced Rural Resilience in
Yemen Program – Solar Energy Project targeting four governorates: Abyan, Lahej, Alhodiedah and Hajja
for three continuous years.
The project aims at leading resilience way to enhance
group work, provide aid/help, and economical revive. To enhance self-depending
in rural communities to better cope with crises,
risks and shocks through getting solar power.
Dr. Maged Beshr, the head of Awdar Organization for Youth Development confirmed that the
project is one of the most
important projects that seek to enhance rural resilience in Yemen as well as it
he first of its kind to be implemented in 4 Yemeni governorates, with the
partnership of a group of civil community organizations. Adwar Organization is
one of these organizations partner in the implementation within the
geographical region of the thw two governorates: Lahej (Tor Al-baha – Toban)
and Abyan (Khanfar – Lodar)
Dr. Beshr added that the project of the solar energy aims to capacity building of rural communities'
adaptability, enhance solar power micro businesses. Priority will be given at
first phase to rural basic services such as health, education; communal
services, market places and other service that need to operate by renewable
energy systems. In addition to expanding in the
applications of solar energy to enhance living resilience of the community of vulnerable
rural areas, building capacities, revival and approve marketing for the
development of micro solar businesses.
The project coordinator Hamdan Eisa pointed from his
side that the mission assigned to Adwar Organization is to monitor the
installation of the solar energy systems and putting institutional arrangements
with stakeholders and beneficiaries in Lahej and Abyan governorates. Do
inspection, test of the equipment of the solar system to insure the delivery of
all the equipment of the solar energy systems and its compliance with technical
specifications and quality decided by UNDP. Also supervising the receipt from
supplier to beneficiaries, insure the installation, operation and delivery of
solar energy systems to the benefited facilities smoothly. In addition to the
execution of training courses and awareness sessions on the skills of
installation, operation, maintaining and preserving of solar energy systems to
the beneficiaries.
It's worthy to mention that Awdar
Organization for Youth Development is a
non-governmental a non-profit Organization, specialized in developing youth
skills and abilities. Coordinating; with international donors in order to
provide different services: educational, health, development and other sides of
interests to local communities. This is to provide them knowledge enabling them
presenting active rules in society through development – enhancing –
partnership. It aims to enable the youths participating in advance and active
rule in development process, participating in making resent and future to raise
the Yemeni Society. ADWAR works in different areas of: awareness, capacity building,
operating, and education. Also: emergency and relief, communication solutions,
sheltering, psychological support, early intervention and reconstruction.
منظمة أدوار توقع اتفاقية شراكة مع UNDP لتعزيز قدرة صمود الريف اليمني بالطاقة الشمسية
وقعت منظمة أدوار للتنمية
الشبابية اليوم اتفاقية الشراكة مع البرنامج الإنمائي للأمم المتحدة UNDP، والممول من الاتحاد الأوروبي ومنظمة
الفاو ومنظمة العمل الدولية وبرنامج الغذاء العالمي، وذلك ضمن المنظمات الشريكة التي
ستنفذ برنامج تعزيز القدرة على الصمود في الريف اليمني – مشروع الطاقة الشمسية
والذي يستهدف أربع محافظات لحج وأبين وحجة والحديدة ولمدة ثلاثة سنوات متواصلة.
ويهدف المشروع إلى قيادة نهج الصمود لتعزيز العمل الجماعي وتقديم المعونة والانتعاش
الاقتصادي، لتعزيز الاعتماد على الذات في المجتمعات الريفية للتعامل بشكل أفضل مع الازمات
والمخاطر والصدمات. من خلال حصولهم على الطاقة
الشمسية.
وأكد الدكتور ماجد بشر رئيس
منظمة أدوار للتنمية الشبابية أن المشروع يعتبر من أهم المشاريع التي تسعى لتعزيز القدرة على
الصمود في الريف اليمني، كما أنه يعتبر الأول من نوعه سيتم تنفيذه في أربع محافظات
يمنية، بالشراكة مع مجموعة من منظمات المجتمع المدني والتي تعتبر منظمة أدوار إحدى
تلك المنظمات الشريكة في التنفيذ ضمن النطاق الجغرافي في محافظتي لحج (طور الباحة
- تبن)، وأبين (خنفر – لودر).
وأضاف
الدكتور بشر أن مشروع الطاقة الشمسية يهدف إلى بناء القدرة على التكيف في المجتمعات
الريفية، وتعزيز تطور الأعمال الصغرى القائمة على الطاقة الشمسية، وستعطى الأولية للخدمات
الأساسية مثل الصحة والمياه والتعليم والخدمات المجتمعية وأماكن التسوق وإضاءة
الشوارع.. وغيرها من الخدمات التي تحتاج التشغيل عبر منظومات الطاقة الشمسية،
بالإضافة إلى التوسع في تطبيقات الطاقة
الشمسية لتعزيز قدرة الصمود المعيشي للمجتمع في المناطق الريفية الضعيفة، وبناء القدرات
والإنعاش، واعتماد تسويق تنمية الأعمال التجارية الصغيرة للطاقة الشمسية.

المشروع أن المهمة الموكلة لمنظمة أدوار مراقبة تركيب منظومات الطاقة الشمسية ووضع
الترتيبات المؤسسية مع الجهات الرسمية والمستفيدين في محافظتي لحج وأبين، والقيام بالتفتيش،
واختبار المعدات نظام الطاقة الشمسية لضمان تسليم جميع المعدات اللازمة لأنظمة الطاقة
الشمسية وامتثالها لمعايير الجودة والمواصفات الفنية المحددة من قبل UNDP، كذلك الإشراف على الاستلام من المورد
إلى المستفيدين وضمان تركيب وتشغيل وتسليم منظومات الطاقة الشمسية للمؤسسات
والجهات المستفيدة على نحو سلس وجيد، بالإضافة إلى تنفيذ دورات وجلسات توعوية
للمستفيدين بمهارات تركيب وتشغيل وصيانة والحفاظ على منظومات
الطاقة الشمسية.
والجدير ذكره أن منظمة أدوار للتنمية الشبابية تعتبر
منظمة غير حكومية، لا تهدف للربح متخصصة في تطوير مهارات وقدرات الشباب من خلال منحهم
المعرفة وتمكينهم من تقديم أدوار فعالة تخدم المجتمع من خلال التطوير - التعزيز - الشراكة.
تأسست في 15 يناير 2011 كمبادرة شبابية، حيث نفذت العديد من الأنشطة والحوارات الشبابية
وورش عمل التي تمس بشكل مباشر القضايا الوطنية. وقد تم تسجيلها بشكل رسمي لمزاولة العمل
برقم تصريح (150) من قبل وزارة الشئون الاجتماعية والعمل بتاريخ 1 يناير 2014. وتهدف إلى تمكين الشباب للمساهمة
بدور ريادي وفعال في عملية التنمية، والمشاركة في صناعة الحاضر والمستقبل للنهوض في
المجتمع اليمني، وتعمل في مجالات عدة أهمها: التوعية والتدريب والتشغيل والتعليم
والإغاثة والايواء والدعم النفسي والانعاش المبكر وإعادة الإعمار.
